CRM’s MD, Diane Adams, was appointed MD of the largest financial newsletter publishing company in SA, Prescon Publishing (Pty) Ltd at the age of 31. She managed both the South African and Australian operations.

Within the group Diane started up an international data division which within 2 years grew to become the largest profit centre within the organization. Prescon had at any time over 30 full time highly skilled staff in the areas of data, IT, analytics and customer relationship management and 21 freelance executives worldwide.

In 2003 Diane established Customer Relationship Marketing (Pty) Ltd which has partnered and/or provided below-the-line products and services to corporates and government - review client list.

Diane did a post graduate in ‘company direction’ and ‘international marketing’ through GIMT. Thereafter she completed ‘neuro-linguistic programming’ (NLP) to masters level. She has recently attended The Credit Academy courses ‘credit scoring’ and ‘affordability best practices’ with a strong focus on the changing credit and privacy legislative requirements in SA.

In 1999 Diane was appointed as Gauteng Regional Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association and ex-officio to the National Board. Diane has been a member of the Direct Marketing Association (and previously The Marketing Federation) for the past 22 years serving on the database committees whose objective it is to create a professional code of ethics for database role players in South Africa.

International Experience

CRM offers global direct marketing experience. Successful product launches both in and out of South Africa have been created and overseen which have included the setting up of business structures, acquisitions, retention and fulfillment requirements which were started, rolled out and managed by CRM. As part of these projects skills sharing and skills transfer took place in the areas of newsletter publishing, direct marketing and database sourcing and management between operations in England, USA, Australia and South Africa.
